We Empower Creatives and Communities Across the Mediterranean

Inesto APS is the community heart of our regenerative movement.

We bring together changemakers, creatives, and communities proving that another way of living and working is possible—rooted in kindness, collaboration, and collective flourishing.

We bridge the gap between rural heritage and urban future, designing cultural ecosystems that leave no one behind.

We design and run cultural programs, youth exchanges, artist residencies, and social innovation projects—always with women's empowerment and territorial regeneration at the center.

Our name comes from "innesto," the Italian word for grafting: the agricultural technique of joining different plants to create something stronger than either could be alone.

What we do

Urban & Rural Regeneration

We work across territories—from inner-city neighborhoods to remote villages—helping communities, property owners, and public administrations design social innovation projects that bring places back to life. Our approach bridges rural and urban, creating connections and flows between the two.

Cultural Events & Festival Development

We develop festivals, curate cultural programming, and manage events that generate impact beyond entertainment. From artistic direction to production, we create experiences that strengthen communities and put territories on the cultural map.

Artist Residencies & Creative Programs

We run residency programs that bring artists and creatives to work alongside local communities. These aren't isolated retreats—they're exchanges where artists contribute to territorial development and communities gain from creative perspectives.

Youth Programs

We run youth exchanges, training programs, and mobility projects across Europe. We focus on social entrepreneurship, cultural management, and community development skills.

Women's Empowerment

Women's leadership and empowerment aren't a side project—it's at the heart of everything we do. We're founded and led by a woman, and we design programs that prioritize women's voices, economic participation, and decision-making power in territorial development.

Destination & Cultural Tourism Design

We help territories tell their stories and build sustainable cultural tourism strategies. This includes destination branding, experience design, and creating year-round programming that serves both visitors and residents.

A note on how we work: Inesto APS operates alongside Inesto SRL SB (our benefit corporation). The association handles community-facing work, non-profit research, and cultural programs. The company handles consulting, strategy, and commercial projects. Together, they allow us to work across sectors while keeping community benefit at the core.

Support our work

Your donation directly funds our independence. You can support specific causes like the "Women Empowerment Fund" or general "Territorial Regeneration" projects. All donations are tax-deductible under Italian law.

Donations to Inesto APS are tax-deductible under Italian third-sector law, check our FAQ for more info.

Most of our project funding comes from grants. Donations support the work that falls outside those grants—coordination, emerging opportunities, programs we're piloting, and the infrastructure that keeps everything running.

Want to Collaborate?

We partner with Municipalities and Public Bodies to co-design social innovation projects and tenders.

Design with us your corporate partnerships and CSR programs

We are active partners in the European design space. We don't just participate; we ground abstract policies into real-world contexts. INESTO APS is the ideal partner for consortia looking for a robust Mediterranean pilot site or a partner capable of managing high-engagement dissemination and community involvement.

We regularly contribute to Erasmus+, Creative Europe, and Horizon Europe proposals. We bring to the table our expertise in regenerative urbanism, female leadership, and social innovation. If you are a university, a research center, or an international NGO writing a project and looking for a partner that bridges the gap between research and territorial implementation, we are ready to co-design

Our Vision

A Mediterranean network of thriving territories where heritage fuels innovation, rural areas are recognized as essential to European resilience, women lead transformation, community wellbeing measures success, and regenerative business models are standard.

Communities prospering through unique identities rather than despite them. Spatial justice as practical framework, not aspiration. Mediterranean as laboratory Europe studies for its regenerative future.

VOLUNTEER WITH US

We regularly need support for events, festivals, programs, and ongoing operations. Opportunities range from a few days during a specific event to longer-term involvement in project coordination.
